RB: James Conner

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports James Conner (ankle) is "looking good to play" in Week 15 against the Lions.

Conner suffered an ankle injury at the end of Arizona's Week 14 loss to the Rams. He was held out of practice to start the week but logged a limited session on Friday, at which point Kliff Kingsbury expressed confidence in him playing. Conner should see his role scaled back with Chase Edmonds returning but he remains a viable RB2 option despite the extra competition for carries. Only the Chargers allow more carries per game than the Lions and no team faces a higher run rate than Detroit.
