Aaron Rodger (COVID-19) is scheduled to return to the Packers one day before their Week 10 game against the Seahawks.
That's the best case scenario for Rodgers, who is unvaccinated against COVID-19 and must stay away from the team for at least ten days. He'll miss Green Bay's Week 9 matchup against Kansas City, leaving Jordan Love to make his first pro start. If Rodgers shows any symptoms in those ten days, he'll be in jeopardy of missing Week 10. The Athletic's Lindsay Jones said "Rodgers and the Packers could be subject to fines should the league find a violation" in how the quarterback and organization handled the situation. Rodgers claimed this summer that he had been "immunized" against COVID. What he failed to mention is the unauthorized homeopathic treatment he underwent to achieve so-called immunization. Rodgers has not worn a mask during press conferences or on the sideline, as unvaccinated players are supposed to do under rules created by the league and the players union. He was also seen at a team Halloween party without a mask. The Rodgers COVID debacle is a long way from over.
