Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Josh Gordon has a chance to play in Week 5 against the Bills.
Reid added that he wants to make sure Gordon has a firm grasp on the playbook before letting him play. The Cheifs have been unable to find consistent production from a second receiver this year. Mecole Hardman is third on the team with 123 receiving yards. That's over 300 yards behind Tyreek Hill. Demarcus Robinson has yet to top two receptions in a game and Byron Pringle's primary role is as a kick returner. Gordon is reportedly still in incredible shape and was effective with the Patriots in 2019 before being released. Without knowing what his role will be or if he'll even take the field this coming week, Gordon is nothing more than a stash for fantasy teams that can afford to wait a few weeks before considering starting him.
