Speaking Wednesday, coach Bruce Arians said Antonio Brown (ankle) is dealing with a sprain near his heel, and it could be more of a long-term injury.
The Bucs go to New Orleans this week and then have their bye. Arians wouldn't say if the team thinks Brown will be ready in time for Week 10. It sounds like Brown could be an I.R. candidate. With A.B. out last week, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin combined for 21 targets on 36 Tom Brady passes while Tyler Johnson played 67% of the snaps as the third wideout, seeing two targets. Johnson would be someone worth adding if Brown needs to miss extended time.
