WR: Marquez Valdes-Scantling

PFF's Doug Kyed reports the "current expectation is" that Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be activated off injured reserve and play in Week 8 against the Cardinals.

It would be much-needed news for the Packers, who will be without Davante Adams and Allen Lazard (both on COVID list) against the NFL's final remaining unbeaten team. Valdes-Scantling would immediately be the WR1 for Aaron Rodgers by default and could step into a big air yards spot. It's always risky to start a player fresh off a hamstring injury, but Valdes-Scantling could have a tantalizing role.
